Detailed Instructions

1. Open GoldMine
2. Select EDIT then PREFERENCES then INTERNET then ACCOUNTS
3. Select the Account you need to modify. The e-Mail Account Properties window will appear - see the warning above

4. Enter a user friendly name in the "Account Name" field - optional, only available in GoldMine 5.5+
5. Modify the "POP3 Server" field to read mail.coltcon.net.
6. Modify the "Username" field so that it contains your Username and Your Domain Name in the format shown... your username is your first initial last name, eg. jsmith@mail.coltcon.net
7. In the "SMTP Server" field enter mail.coltcon.net.
8. Once you have made the proper modifications click "OK" to save your changes. Continue to click "OK" until you have exited the Preferences area.
9. You should now be at the main GoldMine Screen. We recommend you test your mail accounts to make sure they are working properly. This includes sending test mail.
